So, that's one of the better Mute Math songs.

But oh dear, here comes Kanye.

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

It's probably their best song, but Bookends has America, Bookends/Old Friends, Fakin' It, and Mrs. Robinson. Nothing to sneeze at.

That Kanye track seemed really forced lyrically, and musically just pasted on over the song it samples.

I remember it being better live when he opened for U2. Can't believe I just said that.

What are your thoughts on the flow* so far? El-Mel seemed to like it up until the Diamonds -> Americans transition.

*WTF

Wow, I'm Afraid Of Americans is Bowie?

Makes it all the more amusing to me that Bono once snippeted this in Discotheque.

I recognize the name, but I'm not familiar with it. Must be from the EP, as I'm not as familiar with those songs.

Isn't it? Man, those synthesizers are heavy for their time.

I'd agree with Traviud. Things like Quills --> Mirando --> Peculiar People worked really well, but Diamonds --> Americans wasn't the best.

Desert Island question:

So on my Desert Island 2 playlist I used a song that was part of a larger song. I was wondering if it'd be cool if I could use the larger song. What do you guys think?
