Herman's Hermits

I love Peter Noone's performance on American Idol the other night. I had to rewind to watch it again

I hate to break it to you, Maddy, but Herman's Hermits was pretty far removed from Motown and The Motown Sound.

Yeah, if you were to include them, you would have to consider this Motown:

If I had the luck to attend a wedding like that you would never get me off the dance floor. Unfortunately, most weddings I attend have crappy music at the reception.

I wondered why she asked me about Herman's Hermits. I guess she forgot the theme for that night was British Invasion

I saw Herman's Hermits, Gary Pucket and the Union Gap and the Grass Roots open up for the Monkees during their big comeback in the 80s. That was my first concert.

I can't get "Maybe" by the Chantels out of my head.

I love Motown.
