So I'm heading into a majorly stressful stretch here as I work on 3 major papers and revise another for a conference, prepare for a surprise observation while teaching a book no one on staff wants to read, continue wedding planning, and take linguistics quizzes that scare the bejeezus out of me. And also my fiancee is taking her comps and panicking like crazy. So I'm trying to make a good mix of songs to chill out to.

I was inspired by Nick Cave's "Into My Arms," so that begins my list, in addtion to "(Are You) the One That I've Been Waiting For?," "Darker With the Day," "God is in the House" and "What a Wonderful World" duet with Shane MacGowan.

I need more. I will work on more rather than actually sleeping right now, it seems.
