How come you guys refer to gridiron as '"football", anyway? There isn't much foot to ball in it.

We love Dan. Really, we do. His kicking's pretty good and all. But please, score some tries.

If you're a dullard who likes simplistic, repetitive sport, then yes.

Are you referring to American Football?

I really don't know, I'm sure there are official reasons, which I will in all my nerdtastic glory look up after I post, but just thinking about it, I mean, there is a lot to do with kicking, you kick to start the possesion, you kick the extra piont if you score a touch down, you kick to get rid of the ball after four downs, and you can attempt to kick to score a goal...not nearly as much as soccer/football, but still, I don't know.

I'd like to know why they even refer to it as sport.

But I suppose when that bullshit is your point of reference and you live in such a hopelessly inward-focused country, you wouldn't know what real sport is.
