Just picked this up the other day. This is the first Modest Mouse album I've bought, but I have heard a lot of Good News for People Who Like Bad News.

Well, wow. What can I say? The last album to have totally capture my undivided attention like this album has was Funeral.

It's just so fucking good I can't believe it. 3rd Planet is just  And so is Gravity Rides Everything. And Dark Center of the Universe 's. But really the whole rest of the album is just as good. I'm in love with it. I'm definitely going to pick up some more MM soon. Any reccomendations? How many releases have they had so far?

Moon and Antarctica is probably my favorite record of theirs.

Did you get the extended edition with the different edits of some songs?

I love the BBC Radio edit of Tiny Cities Made Of Ashes

The Moon and Antarctica is definitely their masterpiece, but Lonesome Crowded West and This is a Long Drive....are also very good.

3rd planet is awesome.

everything that keeps me together is falling apart....
