He was a Met, originally, and that's how I confused him with Aguilera.

Good point. I think he still lives in the area too.

Gary Gaetti might be nice though. OR, Roy Smalley.

Smalley ended up becoming a Yankee. The Yanks had quite the parade of SS's between Dent and Jeter.

I remember him as a Yankee and as a Twin!

Jim Kaat
Bert Blyleven (they traded him to the Rangers I think)
Brad Radke
frank Viola

Yankee SS's between Dent and Jeter, at least the ones I recall:

Andre Robertson (he died in a car accident on the West Side Highway)
Bobby Meachem (Who is their new 3B coach, I think)
Rafael Santana (Thanks, Mets)
Kevin Elster (Thanks, Mets)
Tony Fernandez
Alvaro Espinoza (Rizzuto loved him)
Randy Velarde (Fielded the grounder that was the last out of Jim Abbott's no-hitter)
Mike Gallego
Wayne Tolleson
Roy Smalley
Paul Zuvella

There might be more.

Bob Sheppard's pronunciation of his name will forever live in my memory. I can't say his name without pronouncing it like Sheppard did.

Ah, Raffy! Great defense but couldn't hit. Still, got to love the '86 Mets.

I stand corrected. He was in a bad car accident, but, yeah, he's not dead. Which is good.
