If the Joe Panik incident wasn't reason enough to get belts out of baseball, there is reason to believe baseball belts cause cancer anyway. Here's the Nationals' Russ Detwiler's belt with the cancer warning. Athletes don't wear belts during conpetition. Hopefully with the new commish, we'll get what we want, a new day, a new way.

Congrats to the San Francisco Giants, they may be baseball's version of the Spurs, but they get it done, in even years anyway. They also play in the best ballpark in the major leagues. They could use a new look however. These jerseys will broaden their appeal beyond just China Basin. Larry Baer, this is for you buddy!
