Split Enz/Crowded House

Uh, Split Enz were Kiwi, not Aussie. That's why they're Enz, not Ends. It cracks me up when people try to classify them as Aussies.

I worked at a record store in the early 80s, and I remember the first couple of Icehouse releases. Though I haven't heard them in 20+ years :|

i was gonna ask the same question

ive never heard of them and nethier has my parents
Don't worry, this is a good thing! 1927 were a short lived band who were, IMO, MOR at best and bland as shit at worst.

good to see Icehouse in the list

Icehouse are so under rated

I luurrrvved Icehouse, well before Iva Davies grew a mullet on his head and in his music. :madspit: "Love in Motion", "We can get together", "Great Southern Land", great songs

My favorite band.......besides U2

The Oils rock
I was pissed too that they broke up

But..
I got be front row at their last ever US concert in July 2002, which just happened to be in my hometown.
and got to go backstage and meet Pete, Rob and the boys afterwards.

Great night.

Loved seeing Bono introduce them at ARIAs
Long live the Oils
