Best Hard Rock Performance:

INCUBUS – "Megalomaniac"
METALLICA - "Some Kind of Monster"
NICKELBACK - "Feelin' Way Too Damn Good"
SLIPKNOT - "Duality"
VELVET REVOLVER - "Slither"

Best Metal Performance:

CRADLE OF FILTH - "Nymphetamine"
HATEBREED - "Live For This"
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE - "The End of Heartache"
MOTÖRHEAD - "Whiplash"
SLIPKNOT - "Vermilion"

Kinda of shocked they have some real metal bands in the metal category, except Metallica. Funny, Slipknot is in both categories

COF should win!
Just kidding of course. Although their new album this year was much better than the last attempt.
Hatebreed and Killswitch - every fuckin song sounds the same!

Just noticed Some Kind Of Monster in there!! I hate that song. St.Anger isnt great, but there are some cool tracks on there. Shoot Me Again/Sweet Amber/Dirty Window...

Really? I think "Invisible Kid," "Some Kind of Monster," and "All Within My Hands" are the best tracks.

Oh yeah, you did mention "Dirty Window." This is also a fucking cool song.

Nothing wrong with Motorhead! :p
Very nice guys and brilliant gigs (even though you've seen them all when you've seen them once). Everybody should see Motorhead once in their lives!

I liked "A Crow Left of the Murder"

But where's the love for Jethro Tull? They'd have been shoe-ins for BEST METAL PERFORMANCE (again) if their Christmas album had been nominated
