I can't emphasize that enough!!!!

I've been picking up and "borrowing" my neighbor's wireless cable modem for almost a year! I don't have my own, but apparently it's pretty easy to do.

All I can say is that if you're not bright enough to put a password on your wireless network, you pretty much deserve to have people who can pick it up use it.

Yes, you should use some type of encryption for security reasons. Piggybacking isn't really that much of a threat as far as other people using your connection (it's not going to slow you down unless everyone is downloading 10 movies at a time), but for security it's not a good idea. PM me when you get to that point and we can work it out.

I've got the wireless up and running but for the life of me I can't figure out the encryption/password part.
