I caught this show last night for the first time. It makes me sad to see how the remaining members of Inxs look so foolish and how contrived this show is in trying to resurrect their careers. I might watch it again at some point just to hear different interpretations of their tremendous catalogue. But, it is really sad.

Just have to put my 2 cents in on this show. I think it sucks. Seems to be a cross between AI and Big Brother. Neither of which I care for. INXS and Dave try to be just like the AI judges and then what's with one show dedicated to just showing them in the "house"? Watched it at first just to see what it was about but screw that. Let the original singer RIP. I agree it's a travesty. I hope this reality shit dies out soon. It's sickining already. The whole reason I used to watch TV was to escape reality. As far as TV goes, this is a sad day and age we live in.

Hi, I'm kind of a reality TV junkie, so yeah, I've gotten sucked into the show. (I only watch reality TV that involves singing or ... uh, modelling, though. No dating, and no races, and no cameras in the house thing.)

INXS' pathetic bid for a comeback/Michael Hutchence rolling in his grave excepted, it's pretty good. And has Garry Beers aged at all?

Heather needs to go, she's a complete Shouty McShouterson.

Can't say I'm too impressed with Tara's singing, but I do dig her Vertigo shirt.

This show makes me yearn for American Idol.

*sings Whitney Houston song, "I believe the children are our future."*

Ha! I'm actually preferring this one, because the singers actually sing one note instead of the melisma-happy freaks who sing 15 notes instead of 1.

i was going to start this topic a while ago, yeah i think this show is really killing their legacy. and not to be sexist or anything but they shouldnt make the new singer a woman. you cant replace hutch with a woman.

RIP Michael Hutchence

That's what I thought at first, too, but one of my friends had a good point. If they want to make a fresh start, they should go for something completely different ... and a woman singer would fit that bill.

Let's face it - no matter who they pick, they're still just going to end up as one of those acts who hit the fair/casino circuit. People will go to see them, but because of the nostalgia factor, not because they're interested in seeing INXS back together and making music again.

I caught a brief episode of this show ... finally !!
I didn't even watch the whole entire show ... I figured what's the point !!
Everyone in the audience were totally excited about the performers performances ...
How pathetic is this show ... those performers are out of their minds if they think they could honestly replace Michael !!

Heck, they're on TV - they'd be totally excited if it were a dancing monkey up on the stage.
