Hub's band at the time used to cover "Addicted to Love" when it was a hit( don't think i want to know how long ago that was) I have the Powerstation album on vinyl...so yeah, I liked him.
I will never forget seeing four guys dressed like the women in that film clip, back in the days of spandex dresses. They mimed to that song, 4 guys from the local Commonwealth Bank. All I could think was
that guy is my friendly mild-mannered band clerk....funny memory. It was a BIG hit that one.
Condolences to his girlfriend and his family and friends,it was sudden and a shock. I agree, 54 is way too young.
