Too much shit was going on, I can't remember the exact conversation.
Yes, he was telling Hurley that "he" died a few days before, and that someone had been watching Hurley's facility for the past week, so Sayid wanted to take him some place safe.

That was a lot to digest. I really don't think Jin is dead. Good fight scene between Sayid and Keamy, excellent scene with Ben killing Keamy, amazing scene when Ben essentially handed over his crown to Locke and went to turn that wheel or gear, or whatever it was. I know everyone says this about the actors on their favourite shows, but Michael Emerson needs an Emmy for this season for reals, yo.

Looking forward to next season. I would imagine they're going to show Locke's downfall, and what went wrong on the island. I hope they're finally going to get into explaining more about the mythology of the island.

I was on Facebook earlier this evening, when I saw a friend's (who lives on the east coast) status saying that Jin had died. So I was spoiled even before I saw anything.

Despite knowing that in advance, I could not stop crying when the ship blew up. Yunjin Kim did an amazing job with that scene - it was so gut-wrenching.

I'm still processing it all, but it definitely wasn't as shocking an end as I thought it was going to be. I was definitely a bit surprised to see Locke there. I thought it might have been Sawyer or Ben.

It was an excellent episode, and I'm going to have to watch it again this weekend to catch what I missed.

I loved it.

Not very many questions were answered in the big scheme of things...but it was a hell of a two-hour ride.

The shootout/Sayid and Keamy fight at the beginning was awesome.

The whole freighter explosion sequence was very intense. Breathtaking stuff. Loved the little Lost in Translation whisper moment between Kate and Sawyer before he jumped out of the helicopter. And yes, Jin is dead.

My girl Claire had a nice little 20 second cameo.

By the end the whole Locke in the casket reveal was a little bit anti-climactic.

But it obviously leaves you wanting more. So next season will revolve around Locke leading his new group around the island and, according to Jack, "bad things happen." Also we might see Jack leading "the 6" back to the island...and a possible Sawyer/Juliet romance???

Still, my #1 question that I want answered is "Who the hell is Jacob?"...and we are nowhere near knowing that yet. Anyway, I can't wait for it to start up again.

I fucking love this show.

thanks....I thought he said that, but also got confused becasue I thought Hurley already knew about the obit and the funeral...it seemed as though he said something else in there that I missed...I caught the part about the paranoia and the guy in the car...it just seemed like he said something else there...I will watch it again

I don't see how he could survive...if he jumped off the ship, he'd have been pulled under when it sank, and the island moved so he'd have nowhere to swim to if somehow he did survive.

There's no way Jin is alive.

My only question is the small boat that they were ferrying people to and from the island. We caught a glimpse of them as Ben moved the island, but it wasn't clear if they moved with it or not. I'm assuming they were close enough still.

I have to watch this again this weekend.

Two other thoughts - dude, Walt is like a grown man now!

It was interesting to see Christian show up and tell Michael. "It's okay, you can go now." What the hell is up with that?!

Holy FUCK, was that a shit episode. I am utterly stunned. Quite depressing, but I enjoyed a good deal of the rest of the season, so there's always that to fall back on, while spending the next 400 months washing the taste of this finale out of my mouth.

I wonder who exactly forgot to mention to the screenwriters that the whole Desmond/Penny reunion was supposed to be emotional, you know...? Weird/inexcusable.

Agreed. Like I said earlier, pretty craptastic when held up the show's pretty lofty standards.

I thought it was pretty good. Certainly not on the level of last year's finale, but good enough that things continue to move forward to what should hopefully be an epic conclusion.

I think there was something in there like Hurley saying (referring to Bentham), "Why are we supposed to call him that? His name is really . . ." and Sayid cut him off.

How can that Richard guy keep showing up over the years, looking no older than he did when Locke was born?? Will we ever get to see the rest of the Dharma video about the time-traveling bunnies?
