**Happy Canada Day**

We're going to watch the parade, barbecue some burgers, drink some beers and listen to all our favourite Canadian artists.

Life is good indeed.

Canada, in honor of you, I went to RUSH last night. You owe me.

Yes, we have fireworks...it's very similar to Jul 4. I am wearing red and white today....and listening to a lot of BNL and Blue Rodeo!

I think I'll go out for dinner and have ethnic cuisine, ie Indian or Greek or Japanese or something....afterall, Canada is all about immigration, so I think it's suitable.

Oh, Canada

I was just thinking about that TV show, "You cant do that on tv (or television?) that was Canadian wasn't it?

Happy Day to you though
:)

for all the canadians:

Happy Canada Day!

why is it made up?

I just got back from our local parade. It was almost 2 hours long

Lots of different representation:

Unions
Churches
Librarians (their slogan, 'make reading a Hobbit' and they were all dressed like Hobbits  )
Buddhist Temple
2 Pipe Bands
Sea Cadets
Veterans
Police (Vancouver PD's motorcycle drill team, Mounties in their red serge, Seattle PD's and Vancouver PD's Horse squads)
Firefighters in antique firetrucks
Korean Drum Band
Local dance schools
Shriners, Lions and Freemasons
Brownies and Guides
Hockey teams
Politicians
Mcdonalds (yes Ronald was there)
And lots more...

There is nothing like a good parade.

Happy Birthday Canada

Funny enough the horses were at the end of the parade. Followed by their large horse trailer and their pooper scooper boy.
