You know I was doing okay with Ray's passing until I started reading this thread. Now I'm starting to cry, because he WAS great. He was great in the same way that Bono is great. You listen to him and just feel like you've known him your whole life...on a personal level.

He was like another grandpa in my life. I'd see him sing "Georgia on My Mind" or even "Hit the Road Jack" and I knew he meant what he sang...no doubt about it.
