I'm back from my Coldplay experience but I'm too tired to post pics or a review...maybe tomorrow. All I can say right now is great venue, great show and great conversation in the beer line

Diamond...where is your review?

Had a great time w/BAW and her husband Rick, first earlier in the day, and then later we met up at the show, and took photos afterwards.

Rick and Char are 2 very cool people.
Rick is funny, my kids loved him.

Anyway-the show-
I scored a floor seat for 20.00 outside on the street.
The best songs were-
Yellow
Trouble
Moses
Clocks
an another song that sounded like old u2.

I was about 3 ft from the stage and took about a dozen pics of Chris M. that I will post later..

My brief Coldplay review and then some pics

The highlights for me were Trouble, Clocks and Yellow. Chris was in a really chatty good mood and talked alot...he did the Justified "I just wanna love you baby" and also threw in some anti-George Bush lyrics..which I thought was hilarious considering Diamond was in the audience

He also came out and did Gold in Them Hills with Ron Sexsmith, which I was hoping he would do.

I took a lot of pics but they didn't come out so great, eh what the hell, I'll post them anyway.

so for the presale today, anyone know the deal? I think tix are $32.50 and $37.50, the cheaper being for GA. Is this like Elevation GA? any clues?

I finally grabbed 3 GA admission for Toronto. I'm so worried those GAs won't be god (or that I'll be so far back...I'm taking 2 friends who've never seen Coldplay live and I don't want them to hate the GA experience. They're so excited to see Coldplay. I hope this GA is good)

I been trying to get tickets with the presale all day today and every time I try and log in from any computer I just get a blank white screen. Is that because of traffic, or do I just not have good luck?

Probably the traffic. Some people who did the pre-sale for the first part of the tour didn't have a great experience. Personally, I was just glad I put up with Ticketbastard, even though that was not exactly fun.

me and my friend couldn't get tickets with the pre-sale either. by the time my friend got through they were all sold out.

guess i'll have to try my luck with the public sale on saturday.

I didn't get any tickets. I got my last presale password through Coldplaying.com so I was waiting for an email from them again. I didn't know that this presale was through a damn radio station and by the time I got to coldplay.com, the Hollywood Bowl was sold out.



Now I have to try the general public sale or ebay as a last resort.

I got Red Rock tickets.

I called ticketmaster in Idaho - and the whole process was automated. Best system I have ever heard. I still hate all of the fees, but, how else are you goign to get tickets for an out-of-state show?

Decent tickets too - Reserved, row 39.

I am pumped.

I got 4 tickets for the Hollywood Bowl...section X1, row 5...the remotest, highest corner of the bowl

I shouldn't complain really but I might sell them. Anyone interested Face value?
