i am still in Denver. Last night show was historic for many reasons:

1. 20th anniversary of U2 playing there and yes Coldplay did acknowledge this important fact. Zoney and I were the obnoxious loud U2 and Coldplay fans

2. it was cold and poured rain! it was worth every bit of being soaking wet. i showed up in my cargo capri's and a tee shirt with flip flops. i was freezing by sunset then the rain started. Digi your tour shirt i bought you became my socks until a kind man behind me gave me a pair of new clean socks ! and digi, don't worry i will wash the shirt before i mail it to you.
i was so damn cold i had to run to the visitor center and buy a cap, a sweatshirt and a blanket to keep warm. Zoney bought a parka for me so i would not get completely soaked! thanks Jeff.

3. the concert was amazing. however chris dedicated most every ballard to gwenyth
* we got two encores
* they played Sugar Kisses, Amesterdam
* Chris sang What a beautiful World

it was great. i will have more later when i get home tomorrow. i am off to do some sightseeing. i am at Kinko's right now and had to post my story from last night!

coldplay!

Okay - here is what Iris and I looked like sitting there in the rain, and the people next to us

guy next to me is rolleyes after I suggested we all huddle for warmth, then me being hyper to keep warm. then Iris with a frozen ohmy on her face, then the eyebrow guy next to her because he was suprised at how many Coldplay shows we had been to and how far we had come.

That ws published on June 6 - so probably a review of the June 5 show. I would have shat myself if I would have heard a "I will Follow" guitar riff.
