MERGED-->Coldplay Live-Please Post All Comments Here!! + live broadcast

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
i am still in Denver. Last night show was historic for many reasons:

1. 20th anniversary of U2 playing there and yes Coldplay did acknowledge this important fact. Zoney and I were the obnoxious loud U2 and Coldplay fans

2. it was cold and poured rain! it was worth every bit of being soaking wet. i showed up in my cargo capri's and a tee shirt with flip flops. i was freezing by sunset then the rain started. Digi your tour shirt i bought you became my socks until a kind man behind me gave me a pair of new clean socks:D  ! and digi, don't worry i will wash the shirt before i mail it to you.
i was so damn cold i had to run to the visitor center and buy a cap, a sweatshirt and a blanket to keep warm. Zoney bought a parka for me so i would not get completely soaked! :D thanks Jeff.

3. the concert was amazing. however chris dedicated most every ballard to gwenyth  ;)
* we got two encores
* they played Sugar Kisses, Amesterdam
* Chris sang What a beautiful World

it was great. i will have more later when i get home tomorrow. i am off to do some sightseeing. i am at Kinko's right now and had to post my story from last night!

 coldplay!

i would like to report i am sick as dog now thanks to the cold rain. :(

Okay - here is what Iris and I looked like sitting there in the rain, and the people next to us

guy next to me is rolleyes after I suggested we all huddle for warmth, then me being hyper to keep warm. then Iris with a frozen ohmy on her face, then the eyebrow guy next to her because he was suprised at how many Coldplay shows we had been to and how far we had come.

 :hyper:  :eyebrow:

i was wondering what show he was at because of two points:

A. it was not a damp grey night IT WAS A SOGGY, WINDY, RAINY, COLD ASS NIGHT

B. There were no U2ey riffs or lyrics in any of the songs played on Friday. Jeff and i would probably have been the first to hear and acknowledge any U2 music. if they did sneak them in, i sure as hell didn't catch it.

i was there. it was a great show. and weirdly enough, i swear i saw gina (hallelujah here she comes) after the show. :der:

we were driving out of the parking garage and there was a girl standing by it talking on a cell phone and i do believe it was our gina.

but anyway, the show was awesome. it was my first coldplay concert and i really loved it. i really wanted to hear rush of blood and amsterdam and i got my wish. and i got to see gwyneth.

i couldn't tell is she was smiling. she came out to the left side of the stage for the last song. i was actually above her so i couldn't see her face. she looked happy. she was sitting on some sort of case or something, and she was kind of moving to the music and clapping. she's so beautiful. i love her.

He dedicated a song to her and was pointing over to the right side of the stage and also blowing kisses in that direction, tho the kisses could have been for John  just kidding

*wooo news flash Iris isnt being sarcastic :lmao: just teasing you*
