can we expect more lyrics like "I like the sound of my own voice!"

and,

"I love the sound of our band, we really can make music like none else!"

God no!

Expect a lot of lyrics like "I love you more than fish and beer, eh" and promo plugs like "This music has a landscape that is as diverse as the Canadian tapestry."

I was hoping The Maccasarus would take it, frankly.
Anyway, yeah, there goes any hope for the next U2 album.

I'm predicting the title of it to be 'The Forgettable Jackoff".

One the plus side...at least now people know where B&C is.

...then again that could be a negative.

will it be "loaded with singles, songs that scream to get played on the air and will be an absolute delight to play live"?

will it sound like "a band that's on fire, punk rock on venus"?

why mess with success? it's pretty obvious 7udging by their lack of grammys in the 90's, that that whole decade was an absolute failure in most regards.

the grammy's are THE awards show. they cannot be disputed.

you (and others) can't seriously think this means that the next U2 album will be a dud?? How? Why?! This mindset gives the grammys an awful lot of credit.

Well it's either going to be ATYCLB III: Revenge of the Delay, or a 60-minute spoken word piece featuring Bono, David Bowie, and Sting reading economic policies out loud with Edge singing the backup vocals from Stateless and playing bongos.

Whatever the case, The Forgettable Jackoff is a great title for a record. Bono can spin it by saying it's about his dad or something.
