Anyone into meditation?

I think this is one of the most difficult things for people to do. Isn't it too difficult to come to a state where you can clear your mind of thoughts? The body can be relaxed but how can you fall deep into the emptiness required by relaxing the thoughts too?

Personally, I've never had such an experience. Others can do it without even reading about it or practicing...

I just can't stop thinking!

I hear ya! I cant stop thoughts running through my mind either!
I know that it DOES take a great deal of practice.
And I don't practice it enough.

... I know that, at some of my attempts, I've ended up falling asleep!

a great way for me to relax and stop my brain from thinking 1000 thoughts at once is practising yoga. I just recently started, but it?s really great. It keeps me focused on myself and help me to relax and sort of meditate.
