i'm eating mcdonald's right now. :reject: (my only option for lunch these days is fast food.)

i didn't even know about this, there weren't any signs up at mcdonald's or anything. i didn't even get free food.

I haven't had a McDonalds in about 3 years apart from the time I was sick last year and had a low iron count and was really craving red meat to the extent I dreamt about burgers and talked about them constantly. I don't like beef and only eat it because my Mum pretty much forces me to once a week. One day we passed the drive-thru on the way home from the hospital and I told my Dad to get me some food, I wolfed down 2 cheeseburgers in about 5 minutes. Afterwards I felt really sick. I realised how healthy I actually am now.

It seems weird that Micky D's is 50...it seems like it been around longer here in Illinois...since the first one opened near where I live.

Hey, I grew up in Des Plaines, IL, where the first McDonald's is...are you in that area?

(technically, the first one was in California, but long-time owner Ray Kroc opened his first there outside Chicago)
