i did the amex pre-sale on tuesday and got really good upper bowl seats. (i wanted upper bowl cause i can't afford almost $300 for the lower bolw/floor tickets).

needless to say, based on the reaction she had after getting the mccartney tickets this morning she'll be off my back for a while...

"how come you don't have a girlfriend, when are you moving out, how can you spend so much money on u2 tickets, blah blah blah

oh you got me tickets to go see the beatle that i absolutely loved as a kid for the first time in my life, and it's on my birthday to boot? i'll shut up now"
