There's of course a 20% chance this is a hoax, because there's no official word from the Manics as of yet, but it looks like a pretty great release if it is.

If it's not a hoax, sign me up!

It's crazy they started with Holy Bible and then then this. What happened to all their other albums?

I suppose this will be where it ends for some time - EMG and THB are their two most popular albums and I don't think Sony or whoever are going to be doing much more reissuing.

Actually quite a bit of the stuff is already out there (the Nynex video is on VHS I think, most of the B-sides are on 'Lipstick Traces' and the videos are all on the 'Forever Delayed' DVD) but the demos should be vaguely interesting. As would the Mike Hedges documentary.

The Patrick Jones film would also be interesting but probably for all the wrong reasons.

The demos are more interesting than the Cure reissue demos because many of them are either accoustic or their first rehearsal. That's at least a slightly different and more interesting take.

Still nothing on manics.co.uk, although retailers like Amazon UK are advertising it now.

Nicky Wire's album is out later this month apparently. The video to his first single is available here:
