The Angels can't seem to pull it together. We've been hovering around .500 all season. It's weird, too, because this is actually a solid team, and we don't have any major injuries right now, although Erstad was out for 5 weeks and needs to get some at bats before he starts hitting.

Our starting pitching hasn't been any worse than last year, and our bullpen is deeper than last year and damn good (despite a couple of disheartening blown saves). Looks like we're playin' for the wild card.
