I have not listened to Free Bird in a while. I did yesterday and the guitar solos  Are there any other guitar solos as good as the one in Free Bird?

I agree, the FreeBird solo is probably one of the most dangerous to have on while you're driving. I always bust out the air guitar.

No.

I'm not a big Skynyrd fan or anything, but hell. I'm from the South, and therefore the solo from Free Bird has run through my veins since birth.

Me too. Born and raised in the briar patch. You can't grow up in VA in the '70's w/o having it become a part of your DNA.

Comfortably Numb Solo #2.

You beat me to it.

Might I also suggest (this is coming from a guitar player's ear, mind):
In Memory of Elizabeth Reed - The Allman Brothers Band
Samba Pa Ti - Carlos Santana
White Room - Cream
Sunshine of Your Love - Cream
Sultans of Swing (Live) - Dire Straits
Hotel California - The Eagles
Layla - Eric Clapton/Derek & The Dominoes
Are You Experienced? - Jimi Hendrix (it's backwards!)
Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) - Jimi Hendrix (DOWNLOAD THIS SONG IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT)
Machine Gun - Jimi Hendrix
The Wind Cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix
Rocky Mountain Way - Joe Walsh
Who Did You Think I Was? - John Mayer Trio
Wait Until Tomorrow - John Mayer Trio
How Many More Times - Led Zeppelin
Since I've Been Loving You - Led Zeppelin
Sorrow - Pink Floyd
Echoes - Pink Floyd
Coming Back to Life - Pink Floyd
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Have a Cigar - Pink Floyd
Scar Tissue - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Working Man - Rush
Riviera Paradise - Stevie Ray Vaughan
Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) - Stevie Ray Vaughan (You need both versions!!)
Texas Flood - Stevie Ray Vaughan
Nautical Disaster - The Tragically Hip
Eruption - Van Halen
Shapes of Things - The Yardbirds

Believe it or not, this list was about 10 times longer before I cut it down. The songs you ABSOLUTELY need to get if you're looking for great solos...get a version of Voodoo Chile, get Comfortably Numb, get Hotel California (try to get the live version from Hell Freezes over), get Sultans of Swing (again, try for a live version), and get Layla.

Seriously, if you don't download these songs I'm going to be VERY disappointed in you, Justin.
