"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

Holy shit, that was a real show? That cracks me up really quite a deal more than it should too. Who won?

OH NO. I better buy some Red products to cheer him up!

Where'd you get up to with your chronological REM listening? I ask because I downloaded most of their albums that I didn't already have earlier this evening and have thoroughly enjoyed Life's Rich Pageant.

Adding to the humiliation of the midgets, the elephant won.

Yes, you should do that right now because that is the only way we can save poor Africans.

As far as I know, the only locations we've visited that don't actually exist are Craggy Island and LMP's failure, and there was some skepticism about the existence of Dumb Hope.

Though I just checked Wikipedia and it turns out there really is a Craggy Island. Off the coast of Van Diemen's Land!

I'm only through Fables still. I plan on going through some today, though. The Verve album you sent me, then maybe REM too.

Oh god.

Shall I distribute a box of One bracelets too? I mean, I know that was so 2005, but it'll make Bono happy, won't it? Won't it?

Ah, cool. I'm actually listening to A Storm In Heaven right now. The first couple of tracks are some really sweet rockin' shoegaze.

I also tried listening to New Adventures In Hi-Fi, but after five tracks, I gave up.

Seriously, that's just amazing. I'm going there, I don't care how. I just have to go there. Maybe even dress as a priest for the occasion.

How do you rank the REM albums you've gotten through?

1. Fables Of The Reconstruction
2. Reckoning
(Those two aren't about to go anywhere from their top spots.)
3. Document
4. Automatic For The People
5. Provisional on a couple of listens: Life's Rich Pageant
6. Green
7. Murmur
(Really, I can't decide on a solid order for the above five. Murmur is steadily rising in my opinion since you guys pointed me towards the quality tracks. I can see LRP moving to fourth or third.)
8. Monster
(Which is garbage, apart from What's The Frequency.)

Listened to some but not all of New Adventures In Hi-Fi and Reveal; gave up on the former due to its crappiness and the latter I was only sampling a few songs before moving onto something else.

I like about half of that album but you have to get through some clunkers, too.
