I have a question....if I have songs on iTunes, but I don't want them on my iPod, how do I keep them off my iPod? I unchecked the box next to it, but the songs are still downlaoding onto it

makes perfect sense.

your ipod will be currently set to update all songs in your library. if you don't want it to do that you have to change the setting.


Preferences--->iPod

either enable the "manually manage songs and playlists" or if you just want the checked songs to update, then enable "only update checked songs"
