Ok, holy sweetness that was a good episode. Interesting things revealed about the Others. Plus Kate and Sawyer get together. Woo. Can't wait until next week though. I've been DYING to find out what happened to Lock, Echo and Desmond!

This was a much better episode than the opener last week. A very interesting back story coupled with some intriguing new story lines.

And the part about the Red Sox winning the World Series and Jack's reaction to the video was priceless...

I'll bet Mrs. Springsteen will agree with me on that one.

Wait until Benjamin Linus shows him that he is really on a pilot version of Mark Burnett's Survivor EXTREME!!!!!

Jack's reaction to the news of the Red Sox winning the World Series and HOW they did it was perfect.

69 days so far, hmm.

That was awesome, I couldn't stop laughing. So cool to see that on Lost. I'm sure that's because Carlton Cuse, one of the writers and producers..I believe it's his wife who is from MA. Or she was treated for cancer here-my memory is foggy, maybe I can Google that. He was in the NESN booth during one of the games at Fenway this year talking about Lost, I think he was also doing the Pan Mass Challenge.

I think that would be a great way to rebuild the team-send most of them off to the Lost island

He went to Harvard

This is from the Jimmy Fund site

"Hopefully they won't get Lost! Carlton Cuse is best known as the executive producer of the award-winning ABC show "Lost," but in his private life, he's a dedicated husband to wife, Christiane, a cancer survivor. Christiane was treated for lymphoma at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute 20 years ago and as a "thank you" to the doctors and researchers who helped make her recovery possible, the couple is getting ready to ride 192 miles in the nation's most successful charity athletic event, the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC)."

No, she wasn't pregnant when she got there. Besides, my understanding is that the island is "providing" miracles for them. Sun was not able to have children before.

Actually it was Jin that had the problem, though their doctor told them it was Sun's problem, because he was afraid of Jin or something. He later came and told Sun that it was really Jin, not her.

Ah thanks. There's so much information in this show that sometimes I forget :giggle:

I have a hard time remembering any of their back story stuff...there really is soooo much and so many characters that are floating in and out of theirs lives at different junctions. My memory is for shit and were three years into now...

So I guess Jack is going to be called upon to save the girl who was shot?

I thought Henry, or Ben, or whatever the hell his name is, was talking to Jack at the same time as what was happening with Sun, Jin, and Sayid, so it's gotta be something different, something more mind-blowing...

Just saw the episode, not as good as the season premiere, I thought it was somewhat established Sun didn't cheat on Jin on their last flashback, it seemed very out of character..also Sayid's ambush plans were somewhat stupid coming from someone who doesn't tend to fuck up things and is quite strategic

The Others motives are either going to be the most brilliant thing or the stupidest I wonder how long will they keep us in the dark

Cool. I actually had lunch today with the ABC guy who did that voice over for the us version. I keep asking him what's going to happen but he says that doesn't know anything.

Is anyone else a little frustrated by how slowly things happen on this show?
