Looking 4 a good band...

My cousin wants a band to love as much as I do U2.
She thinks U2 are ok, but she wants to find another band that has been around a while and still brings out good, up to date music.
(If she didn't like U2, they would be perfect, huh?)

Well anyway, does anyone know a band that an eleven year old girl would like that has been around and still knows how to put it down?

REM are a good choice. As is INXS, very accessible music. Plenty of ground to cover there as well.

Coldplay, Travis, Garbage, Fountains of Wayne, Weezer, David Gray. I think these are good choices cause they all have at least a few albums under their belt, but are still early enough in their career to make quite a few more albums.
