Looking 4 a good band...

My cousin wants a band to love as much as I do U2.
She thinks U2 are ok, but she wants to find another band that has been around a while and still brings out good, up to date music.
(If she didn't like U2, they would be perfect, huh?)

Well anyway, does anyone know a band that an eleven year old girl would like that has been around and still knows how to put it down?

Springsteen and the E Street Band

Only band that comes close to U2 in that sense.

What kind of music does she like? Here are some random suggestions (other than the great ones already named): Coldplay, Stereophonics, Travis, Blur, Oasis, REM, and The Cardigans.

REM are a good choice. As is INXS, very accessible music. Plenty of ground to cover there as well.
