Hmmm ... well, trying to remember the songs ...

I re-wrote David Bowie's "Heroes" as a song about Holden Caulfield in my English class. That went pretty well.

I re-wrote Flight of the Conchords' Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros as a song about World War I propaganda in my history class. That killed everyone.

I re-wrote U2's Sunday Bloody Sunday as a song about The Scarlet Letter in my English class. However, I fucked up some of the playing during it and had some more serious lyrics towards the end. It went alright, but not nearly as well as the others.
It always neat when the class can see your craft and your art. I'm glad you got to experience that.

You didn't read my post about the first time I kissed a girl with a tongue ring did you?

I think I was ESTJ. I think I was blatantly E and J, but markedly close on S and T, to the point where there was essentially no difference. I could just as easily, on a different day have taken it and been an ENFJ.

That's not saying much, though.

Eh, not gonna bore you to death by elaborating. I'd just like to find a middle ground between how I used to view love, and how I am now.

No, they were too big. I had to turn her away from the screen though during the Fly cause I didn't want her to have an epileptic seizure.

The FOTC was the best one. I didn't actually bring the guitar in on that one, because it's too difficult to rap and play at the same time without losing my timing. So, I recorded the guitar on my shitty microphone and put it on a CD, brought it on, and rapped over it.

I also did the instrumental part where they shuffle back and forth, only did it while sitting in a chair, which ended up hilarious, as I was sliding the chair abruptly on each chord change.

I was just wondering if anything like that stuck out for you.
I don't think that makes the music "yours." At least it didn't for me, though I sometimes smirk when I hear simon and garfunkle, I mean that guy was a huge tool.

All of those were songs that were about school subjects, too, so, out of a desperate attempt not to take an assignment seriously, I made them humorous, though still to the point.

No one's actually ever read any of my real lyrics, or heard my real songs.
