Oh yeah, I should share what I did last night. At about 2am, once we were all a bit on the drunk side of life (honestly, I don't think I was very drunk), we decided to watch ... Thomas The Tank Engine.

That was awesomely awesome.

That must have been heaven for you.

Thomas The Tank Engine to a Train porn enthusiast would be akin to child porn, no?

Yeah, though it was unfortunately not from a season narrated by Ringo Starr. We'll probably find a video of episodes he did for the next booze-up, though!

fuck. i'll watch the 82 international theatrical cut tonight and see if i have time for the director's cut too. at the very least, i'll watch the end of it to see the original ending.

then i'll see if i can rent the other disc too

i don't own it  i just rented it from netflix. i added this so long ago and am finally getting to stuff i added to my queue...i think a year and a half ago...i don't even remember if i saw multiple versions.

The final cut was released late last year and is the definitive version of the film.

If you don't have that, then I guess the Director's Cut will have to do.

oooh, one of the seasons narrated by...was it george carlin?

No, it was the 1992 season, by Michael Angelis. I understand Carlin only narrated the versions re-narrated for the American market (because apparently American children would get confused by the British narration, despite the fact children everywhere else don't).

lmao, someone just called me and i hit pause on my apple remote to pause the dvd. weeeeeell, i had itunes open as well, and it paused the dvd and started playing the music, really loudly :uhoh:

ahh i see. that is stupid. especially since as i got older, my mental image of george carlin completely changed! same goes for bob saget.

:der: can someone please tell me why netflix is recommending me movies i've already seen? i can understand them not knowing movies i've seen on my own, but it's a movie i rented FROM THEM.

i've already seen road warrior, kthx!

:fuckyeah:

I knew of Ringo long before i knew of The Beatles

Yeah, me too. It was years before I knew that the awesome Thomas guy was also a Beatle.

Though when I was little, I thought the Beatles were some pathetic hack band for children, and by the time I was five, I was "far too grown up" for silly songs like Yellow Submarine.
