I'm only watching some of the performances. Honestly, I don't have an opinion on the whole "oh, how hypocritical, expending all this energy to talk about saving the earth" thing. I also don't really care about the whole argument about how Live 8 didn't have an impact.

I just care that there's a bunch of bands and musicians putting on a big-ass concert. I'm all over that like white on rice.

Bravo did show Snow Patrol, only 2 of their 3 songs. They showed Chasing Cars and Shut Your Eyes. Don't think they showed Block Party yet though.

Crowded House was very nice...so the power really went out? I thought that it was to make a statement! Trying to decide between Chris Cornell and the Foo Fighters now...

I'm trying to figure out when would be a good time to take a shower and run to the store to buy stuff for dinner...maybe shower during DMB and supermarket after Kelly Clarkson and hope that Kanye and Bon Jovi do long-ish sets.

Just logging on for two seconds because the wireless on my laptop is being a pain.

This has been completely and utterly boring. Only acts worth watching so far were Bloc Party, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Spinal Tap (for the hilarity value.) I was really hoping RHCP would have played Righteous & The Wicked. That song would have been PERFECT for an event like this. Oh well. Metallica were also great, surprisingly. Everyone else...pfffffff.

And it's still ages before Roger Waters and The Police close out the show at Giants Stadium.

If you're in Canada and you have satellite, woo! We've got the live feed from London, live feed from New York...er New Jersey, live feed from Rio, live feed from Johannesburg, and highlights in high definition from all of the shows. It's making me dizzy having to flip back and forth between them all. A pity the performers are mostly shit...
