Ah, but this isn't anything like his tour. Seriously, the tour far outstrips what you saw tonight. Check out this video I got:

It is WELL worth the money.
I've seen many videos of his tour. Just. No. I know you're a huge fan, but everything I've ever seen, he sounds sub-par to me, and for me, the vocals are a large part of it. Sorry, don't get the Roger love at all.

I wish you could have seen Davids tour. I think you would have had a new appreciation for him.

Damn, YouTube doesn't have the original audio to the video of Run Like Hell in 1980.

I'm pissed because I just moved into a new apartment and have no satellite or cable yet, so, I could not even DVR the concerts today. Fuck.

VP, how do you really feel?

For me, a show is not only about the music, it's about the performance and how much the performer gives back to the audience. I've seen videos of Dave's tour. He just stands there. Plays and sings tremendously well, granted, but when I go to a show, I want to see the performer giving it his all and enjoying himself. I wouldn't trade having Roger Waters smiling at me from front row while we sang the chorus of Comfortably Numb together for any Gilmour guitar solo, no matter how good.

David > Roger, but, without Roger, there is no Pink Floyd. He is their edge.

The Police...played well, but there was too much jamming and screwing around. Booooring.

Roger really should have closed it.

I couldn't even watch the whole Police performance. And I was looking forward to it.

I saw the Police last night and thought they were great, anything but boring....but, hey, opinions will vary.

I've never seen Floyd, Gilmour or Waters in concert, I think I'd enjoy and of the above, knowing the first option aint happening, of course.

I need to see if I can talk to my friends at NBC Universal and ask if I can get some copies of everything they televised.
