List your top 10 albums of all time!

In light of the recent Rolling Stone top 500 albums of all time, I thought it would be interesting to find out what those at interference think are the top albums of all time. Instead of listing your top 50 like the voters did for the top 500, just give your top 10 in order!

Here's mine:

1. Achtung Baby- U2
2. Joshua Tree- U2
3. Synchronicity- The Police
4. Unforgettable Fire- U2
5. ATYCLB- U2
6. Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea- PJ Harvey
7. Outlandos D'Amour- The Police
8. VS. - Pearl Jam
9. The Crossing- Big Country
10. Murmur- R.E.M.

Oh man. I know I'm gonna regret whatever I'm about to type as soon as I hit that "submit" button, but here goes. These are based on my feelings about the album as an entire unit rather than the strength of the individual songs.

2. August and Everything After - Counting Crows
3. Mexican Moon - Concrete Blonde
4. Zooropa - U2
5. Kid A - Radiohead
6. Achtung Baby - U2

10. Violator - Depeche Mode

i like top 10 threads

i love top 10 , top 170 U2 songs , top 500 songs threads etc etc..

my top 10 albums of all time are as follows

10. Everyb'y Else Is Doing So Why Can't We - THE CRANBERRIES

I hate female vocalist ( dont mean to be sexist) . Norah Jones, Maddona, Britney..etc etc but this is an exception. i love this lady's voice whatever her name is

Fav song on the album - linger

9. Exciter - DEPECHE MODE

From irish pop to british pop, I am afraid my list is 90% IRISH-BRITISH affair.

Fav song on the album - comatose

8. Jar of flies -ALICE IN CHAINS

One of my recent discoveries.

Fav song on the album - Dont follow

7. Division bell - PINK FLOYD

back to british bands - Pink Floyd - one of the best bands of the world. Dave gilmor - what a vocalist . what a guitarist.

Fav song on the album - tie between high hopes and coming back to life

6. Pop - U2
U2 are U2s. Need I say more. I hate it when people hate this album.

Fav song on the album - Gone

5. Lightbulb sun - PORCUPINE TREE

I havent heard all the songs of this album but i would rate this high all those albums with lots of song but no soul. This band is criminally under-rated !! Listen to Hate song, feel low , she moved on and you will know this is all about. Discovery of year 2003 for me.

Fav song on the album - Stranger

4. OK Computer - RADIOHEAD

Radiohead is band no 1 for me

Fav song on the album - Let down - I believe this is the best song ever made

3. Morning Glory- OASIS

I love this album .. This album is close to my heart because i have lots and lots of memories attached to it.

Fav song on the album - Wonderwall

2 The Joshua Tree - U2

U2's best work - one of the best albums ever

Fav song on the album - Streets

1 THE BENDS - RADIOHEAD.

The album that got me into radiohead.

Fav song on the album - Fake Plastic

Just missed : AB - U2, UF - U2, Kid A - RH, Sea change - Beck, Parachutes - Coldplay, Closer - JD, Dark side of moon - PF, The wall - PF, Boy - U2

edited : for typos
