List your favorite B-sides.

I just learned of "Gravity" by Coldplay from the "Talk" single. It's an excellent tune.

Another favorite is PJ Harvey's "Memphis," from "Good Fortune." It's about the death of Jeff Buckley and it's incredible.

What B-sides do you like?

Speaking of PJ Harvey, This Wicked Tongue is just as good as anything on Stories From the City...

She also opened with it when I saw her with U2.

Whenever I listen to the album, I put this first as a lead track. It's a great intro.

I haven't heard that Oasis one. I'll check it out.

I always liked "Talk Tonight," I think from Wonderwall. Great tune.

Actually, I need to find that one again. I didn't have a backup of it when my last computer died.

I miss my Oasis b-sides. The only one I have beside Masterplan is Let's All Make Believe. Stupid crashing computer. If anyone has them, I'd be eternally grateful for an e-mail at ostentatioustourist @ hotmail . com

"Who buys U2 records anyway? It's just music for plumbers and bricklayers. Bono, what a slob. You'd think with all that climbing about he does, he'd look real fit and that. But he's real fat, y'know. Reminds me of a soddin' mountain goat."
"And as for Bono, he needs a colostomy bag for his mouth."

Yes, it was Now We're Getting Somewhere's b-side (and I think it cropped up as a b-side a couple more times, actually) before appearing on the Afterglow rarities CD.

I personally think it is easily the best song the Crowdies have ever done.

Lady With The Spinning Head

Also Robbie Williams tends to have strong B-sids - Berliner Star, Come Take Me Over, Better Days...

However being the popslut that I am -

ladies and gentlemen...

Roxette - The Sweet Hello, The Sad Goodbye

Utter genius.
