Bugger! I got my hopes up then. I thought it was going to be jokes ABOUT librarians. (sorry - the natural enemy of the safety officer is the librarian.)

"you are in a library not an adult entertainment center"

how about one for internet gambling? i'm not a librarian, but i've attempted to use computers for legit searches and had librarians tell me that the reason the mouse takes control of itself and opens 20 ads for the world's largest net casino is because online gambling sites bring in all sorts of shit. ok, so he didn't say shit, but i thnink he wanted to.

I'm going to be a librarian too! I'm going to library school right now (& I have the debt to prove it )

I just hope I can get a job after all this!

the district here in las vegas is no longer dewey, and hasn't been for years.

we are proudly catalogued in the style of the library of congress.

we were also named district of the year last year by the american library journal. and that's out of every district in the whole country.

and this finishes my boring-to-anyone-but-library-types talk for today.

We use Dewey Decimal. I don't think it's hard at all. If you can count, you can work with Dewey Decimal. The local campus library uses Library of Congress. I haven't used that since I was a student.
*can count but can't type*
