Letterman or Leno?

Based just on this question, Letterman. His show is still better, though I think the funniest person on the show is actually Alan Coulter, the announcer.

I think there is a great talk-show host inside of Jay Leno waiting to get out. I think NBC reins him in because of the Tonight Show's fairly squeaky-clean image (Johnny Carson). Another poster mentioned about Leno making the occasional hilariously mean joke during his monologue; this might be the real Jay Leno.

Conan is better than them both, though the show took a hit when Andy Richter left.

Craig Kilborn is a waste of skin.

I find it very difficult to watch Leno because I don't find 90% of the things he does very funny. And Letterman just isn't like he used to be, the whole inside joke comment is right on target.
