I seriously cannot decide. It tends to be Led Zep III, but what about IV and Physical Graffitti? Those are the three big contenders.

I might go with III, though. I love the soft acoustic stuff and it seems to be perfectly balanced with rockers like Immigrant Song and Out on the Tiles.

Houses of the Holy!

No, wait, IV!

No, wait, Physical Graffiti!

ARGH

It really shifts between those three daily. I mean, HOTH has The Song Remains the Same, Over the Hills and Far Away, No Quarter, and The Ocean; IV has Black Dog, Stairway, Going to California, and When the Levee Breaks; The entire disc one of Graffiti is amazing.

I just can't decide. I'll get back to you later...

No question to my mind: IV is the best of them all!

stairway to heaven
Rock `n Roll
Battle of evermore
Black dog

They kick everthing else there is of LedZep

I only had one Led Zepp album when I was young and just about wore a groove in the Black Dog track. So that one.

I think IV is totally overrated...but it is hard to pick a favorite album. Spent some time with Houses of the Holy last week--I'll go with that.
