I honestly did not love any of the casinos, but if I had to choose one, I guess it would ahve to be the Bellagio. I did hate, however, how they have non-stop $10 minimums, those bastards.

I actually went into one of the high(er) roller rooms there to take a peek at the action, and watched a Baccarat game in which a gentleman was losing hands uh, hand over foot.

Oh - he was betting $12,000 on each hand by the way.

I also love roulette and had a new strategy by the time I left. By betting on two out of the three outside bets you tend to win an awful lot. You lose one of the bets, but get paid double on the one you win so essentially you are betting 2 and winning 3. The catch is that you have to pick the one outside bet that will not win.

Anyway - my favorite used to be craps, but I got wiped out each time I played.

I thought the Hard Rock was kind of fun - but a bit too much for me. Nobu was good. I am getting old I think...

Joyfulgirl, had you been in touch with me I would have recommended you fly over to Vegas to meet us. We could have gotten you a room and we were actually hanging out with someone you may have liked. He worked at a PR firm representing one of the diamond necklace designers and he lived in New York. Oh - he was from Arezzo Italy and has a "place" there. To think - he could have been yours...

I did not miss the snow. I am liking snow/cold weather less and less these days. I am enamoured by the dessert. I love Arizona and Nevada...

i am so happy to hear someone adore my home state. i am fairly new to nevada, just been here over two years, but i love it so much. every day, the sky puts on a show you would not believe. i sit for hours watching the sky. the sunsets, the stars, the neon glow...

i'm having trouble grasping your roulette system. two out of three of the outside bets? like...red, black, even, or odd? or the zeros? (always, always, play your zeros.)

no no no

there are three outside bets called

1st 12
2nd 12
3rd 12

They pay 2:1. You bet on two of them, and if you hit one of them you get paid three times so you are betting 2 to win 3. The caveat is that if the third bet (the one you do not bet on) hits, you lose both bets...

oooooh, THOSE bets...ok. you know what? i'm going to go gambling in like, five minutes. i will try your system, and get back to you. wish me luck.

ok...ouizy.

i just got back from roulette. you are right. i tried your betting system, and while it didn't exactly win me a fortune, it did keep me in the game a lot longer. while i might lose my bets across the board, i would still get paid off of the outside bet. personally, i never play the odd/even/black/red bets simply bc they don't pay. and until today, i had always ignored the other outside bets, but from now on i will play these every other spin or so.

how can you not like blackjack? after doubling my money at roulette, i went on to the blackjack table. i love this game. the odds are better at this game than at any other in the casino. and if you are playing a single deck, it is not impossible to keep track of the cards...heh heh, not card counting exactly, but you know...

so for today, at least, i am ahead. thank you, ouizy...for inspiring me to go be a fool in the casinos. i love gambling...

gambling

I am flying back early from Canada next week to play poker.

I am addicted.

SEE I TOLD YOU ABOUT THE ROULETTE BETS.

Now if you really think about it, don't even waste your money on the numbers, the odds are really terrible.

If you were to put all that cash on those two outside bets, you can make more (over time.)

I saw a guy make hundreds of dollars using this method....

As far as blackjack - I know the odds are pretty good, I just get nervous, hate to add when drinking, and it always seem that the dealer just beats me.

If I have 18 he has 19, if I have 20 she gets 21.

It sucks...

Yeah, the good old 2/3. I was winning with that one years ago. Chances stay the same, but its a pretty fine way of reducing the risk, innit? I really haffa go play.

What bonosgirl84!!! You are from Vegas and didn?t know that method? Well, glad that it kept you playing.

Nice easy lesson #1 ouizy... I wasn?t around then, so thanks for teaching my girl.

i have never used this system, because really, unless you are going to stack the chips very, very high on these outside bets, you are still running uphill in rollerskates...if you want to win big, you must first, play with chips that are worth a lot, and second, you must pile them high, straight up, on the numbers. the amount of hours i have spent at roulette wheels is embarrassing. i know which numbers seem to hit more than others. sounds unbelieveable, but it's true. some numbers are more common than others. but there are no guarantees, of course.

there are two ways of gambling for locals. the i-can't-pay-my-rent, reckless way. or the let's-go-drink-the-casinos-liquor way. ouizy's system is best for the latter if you're betting low, because it keeps you in the game.

thumbs up, ouizy. i love to gamble.

oh yeah... lets go drink the casinos liquor.

I woke up this morning pissed off because I realized I bet craps the wrong way...

I need a fix...
