I gotta post this:
Really good family friends of ours, the Stajans, have a son who's about my age (he's 19). And was just signed to the Leafs. Not only that, but he was actually chosen to play in the Leaf's final game of the regular season.
Not ony that, but he was the ONLY LEAF PLAYER TO SCORE. His FIRST NHL game. Ever. Whoa.
So, the Leafs lost 3-1 to Ottawa.
But Slovenians rejoice (well, actually, he's second or third gen. Slovenian, but still...it's so cool. From literally, the day he was born, his mom was saying "Look at his feet. He's going to be a hockey player." The kid had a RINK in his BASEMENT--no ice, just a big room. It was amazing. Boards and everything)...
So anyway, we figure he's got about a million bucks or so now. Luckiest 19-year old I know...
