Indeed. The Pool has returned.

Yahoo! has begun registration for teams and leagues, and I believe that DaveC and Zonelistener expressed some interest. As the former commissioner from the last fantasy pool season, I offer the position to any of the willing regulars (high recommendation for Chizip especially).

I'm not sure what all it entails, so I am hesitant to apply.

The responsibilities are pretty self-explanatory upon registration. You simply have to oversee the activities of the league (in a moderator type fashion), and setup the initial format for the season... including scoring categories, number of teams, etc.

Someone who has experience with Yahoo fantasy games would be more than qualified.

It's a relatively easy job... just time-consuming at times.

I completely agree with the Stat categories. Faceoff wins was an interesting addition last year, although a lot folks loathed it since it favoured a lot of my strategic players.

The team size and distribution of players looks good. I foresee the Live Draft garnering some complaints... even though the pre-rank option is always there. My vote goes for head-to-head, personally. It makes weeks more interesting, and I think it requires managers to draft a more balanced team.

I will be in and I despise live drafts.

I still think those who cannot be there at 9pm ADT (and we will never find a time when we can all make it) have a disadvantage to those who are there and know what they need, as well as what is out there.

I don't think you should be punished for being "busy"

I vote autodraft.

I say stay with the head-to-head, but change to the autodraft.

There's no way I'll remember to be on-line and I got screwed enough in the autodraft.

i think logistical issues outweigh the potential hosehounding of a live draft. i'm not sure if that makes sense but i think an autodraft would be easier on everyone.
