North American Scum (first single)

I don't know what the date for the album is...it's either March 13 or March 20, but either way I am very excited. Their debut was very good. Tribulations was one of the best songs of 2005.

I might end up picking that up. I kind of dug "North American Scum" when I heard it.

I'm also curious about that 45 minute song that Nike commissioned to be a workout track.

I liked "All My Friends" (which I can't see myself considering anything but the best track of the year, come 2008) and nothing else. I was especially offended by the fact that he raped/pillaged 45:33 (2/3 of which was outrageously great) by chopping it up, reducing it, and layering some vocals in order to pretend like it was new to pad out the running time of the LP. Whatever.

Good singles band, no more.

I'll just keep listening to "Daft Punk Is Playing at My House" and rocking out.
