Million Dollar Baby

The only one I haven't seen is Hotel Rwanda, but MDB is my pick for Best Picture

I'm still crying just thinking about it

Million Dollar Baby.

I'm kinda undecided about this one. I was moved to tears by Maggie's story and Hilary Swank was simply amazing. But I thought there were too many sports-movie cliches, and some supporting characters are nothing but grotesque cartoons. And gritty underlit look is fine, but not when for the sake of it there's virtually no distinction between the small fights and the big one - it just comes off as contrived IMO.

I loved it, fight sequences with an Anime style, references to Bruce Lee and 70s movies, sort of homage to old westerns... great photography and cinematography... great movie, actually
I know!, maybe tomorrow I will rent Kill Bill Vol. 2, too many things to get clarified...
