The Da Vinci code and i pretty much agree with what's been said -Ian McKellan is as brilliant as ever

But i didn't like jean Reno either and Paul Bettany was great&even a wee bit sexy!

Audrey Tatou is gorgeous!

seen before, but caught part of it again yesterday:

CONTACT (Jody Foster, Matthew McConaghey...) I really like this movie a lot and love the visuals when she travels to other dimensions.

BATMAN BEGINS (Christian Bale) - caught most of this today - missed the first 15-30 minutes. Really good - liked it

Mission Impossible: III. 8/10.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman was brilliant. Like Queen Bee said, you don't see near enough of PSH. He played the character very well. I loved the action and all the explosions. What can I say - I'm amused easily by things blowing up. Kerri Russell was fine, but I was surprised by how little screen time she got as well. Overall it was a good movie, and kept me entertained.

Star wars the other day - the Sith episode. While considerably better than the first two, still below the original trilogy.

"UNLIMITED POWER!" emperor shriek is classic, though.

yes but in a very odd way, seeing David Bowie acting very goth like, and raping and pillaging women on a whim, was ummmmm yes very odd.

in the end of course, he went out in a whimper not very b efitting of the character he was trying to portray.

so ya if done well it would have been more interesting than it was, and alot less painful to sit through.

In an even stranger way we actually sat through the entire movie without turning it off, which we tend to do on many an occasion.

Munich was one of those that we couldnt sit thoruhg, very disappointed by that movie for some reason, after being disappointed by Jarhead, this one was like watching it over again.....

but of course that's just me...things just dont seem to be made like they used to.

NOT TWINZ

-----------------------

I saw nine movies this weekend!

Instinct - I really liked it. I walked into it not even knowing the plot, and I liked it.

Insomnia - It was meeeeeeeeeeh. I'm neutral on it. Wouldn't see it again.

X-men III -

The Producers (remake) - The play is a bajillion times better.

Monster-in-law - It wasn't the bomb I thought it would be, but I wouldn't watch it again.

Snatch - I'm just not really made for this genre or film style. It was an okay movie.

Uncle Buck - I think this is the last John Hughes movie I had left to watch, and of course he did not disappoint. I miss you, John Candy.

The Big Lebowski - It really wasn't what I expected. I didn't like it. :/

Brokeback Mountain - Finally got time to sit down and watch this and can I say it's the most overhyped movie I've ever seen. Imagine this movie starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman (award winner, in case that interests you) and Steve Buscemi (another accomplished actor) and no one would have given a crap about it. Honestly, I wasn't moved. Plus I have no sympathy for cheaters, gay or straight.
