Even though Burton's probably my favourite filmmaker, there is of course the little matter of Planet of the Apes. As absurd as the deadline the studio imposed on him was, he just wasn't suited to the material.

The remake with Nicole Kidman and Matthew Broderick was NOT that GREAT !!
In fact, I'd call the remake 'so-so' too ...

Once again late late very late last night while channel surfing cuz of the insomnia, I came across Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. OMG it made me feel so old. My mom took my sister and I to the theatre to see that movie and I bet the tickets were probably 75 cents at that time! Time's have sure changed! Good flick tho
