Crap and back on the meds after an ugly day. But apart from that I'm strangely upbeat and ok. :giggle:

aww, sorry about the ugly day, but that's great you're upbeat  it'll get better.

well i have been ordered (reasonably) to clean my ridiculously messy room (i am the biggest pack rat ever) and make it suitable for my parents to do something else with, so in addition to 6 red sox games in 8 days and various appointments i am doing that (except very little room in the house to store stuff i want to keep), plus packing.

just heard some walky-talky noise but didn't see anything outside.

what are your parents trying to do with your room?

What freaked me is that our 2yr olds bed was up against that front wall, and the house did not have thick sturdy walls. I thought afterwards 'what if there was shooting and a bullet went through the wall and into her' :yikes:

yeah that is awful. did you move her? my mom and i were in the living room which is at the front of the house (actually my bedroom is right above it but out of a line of fire vertically), and it really sounded like the car was driving down our street. the apartment building next door sometimes has drug traffic out of it. they've got a fair amount of cops out i think, scanning the bushes and such with flashlights. i dunno if in daylight they'll look again or if they will have better things to do if they don't find anything now.

i secodn that to gluey. your story about them finding something else and fixing it reminds me vaguely of this woman we know who had breast cancer and while she was getting a scan after her diagnosis they found an aneurism in her brain. so they operated and fixed that, probably saving her life. she's in remission now too as far as i know.

uuuuuuuh dunno, they're gonna put a double bed futon in (i have a twin) so it can be a couch/guest room i guess. i mean we have 8 rooms plus a finished basement room that used to be a playroom and was supposed to be made into a "teen hang out" for my sister but she's just finishing her junior year of HS and it's fulllllll of junk. we've got an office with computers, a dining room, living room, and room with the piano and more office stuff. so i dunno, beyond actually having a guest room which will be nice, we now put people up on the sleep sofa in the living room which renders the tv useless to anyone else.

plus when i come home with a boyfriend i can have a double bed

my day's already over

 what happened?

work's just been busy all week, and i also got stuck with the task of calling 11 people and telling them a flight we'd booked them on which departs saturday (as in this saturday, four days from now) is overbooked, so they're being cancelled from it :yippie:

and thanks

oh that sounds like great fun

i thought you worked for a casino? they do bookings too?

weird, so like, hospitality on the whole.

You're in school part time, right? are you going for hospitality or management or something else?
hehe yeah, pretty much :sigh:

yes i am :D i'm a business/communications major. i want to become a buyer, which i could do in the casino biz, but who knows. i'd love to be a buyer for something more glamorous like a department store or something
