Alcatraz is worth it if you're in the area, but make sure you get the audio tour. I got a ticket to alcatraz at night at the last minute, all they had, which came with the audio tour, and i'm glad i did cause i'm too cheap to buy it normally and it was awesome. i recommend the whole at night thing, nice sunset from the island and view of the city.

i went the weekend i was out there for sox-sf.
