So, that call was actually worth answering, 'twas from my mother and she saw the doctor earlier today. Looks like her pancreas really is fucked.

Will know if anything can be done about it later this month when she sees another specialist ...

I've always loved Some Days. Adam does some sweet bass here.

When I first bought Pop, they accidentally put the Zooropa disc in it. I loved Gone from the Best Of, so I put the album in and instantly skipped to track seven to hear the original ... and was totally confused when SDABTO began, but I loved it immediately anyway.

Oh, I like this! I just made a quick playlist to match. I'll join you when you get to DGPFYCC, so let me know.
:lmao: Oh God. You left out the shadow explanation though, it had something to do with me hearing that in Shadows and Tall Trees...something about Bono saying "Eating my shadow"
That was way at the beginning of the convo, we talked about other stuff inbetween, but yeah, you thought he said "Don't eat my shadow" :giggle:

Yeah, she was hoping (though not really expecting) that it would just be a stone that they could remove or something like that. But instead it turns out it's something genetic that I can't spell. In the worst cases, there are forms of treatment to control it ... she doesn't know if hers is bad enough that it needs to be treated though, hence another specialist meeting at the end of the month.

I think it's worse when you're at stages like this...the not knowing. I think, no matter the outcome, it's always easier to deal with if you know what you're up against, and what path you have to take.

I've never been a huge fan of the studio version of The First Time - not that I'm implying it's bad, since it is a good song. Rather enjoyed it live.
