kids cold meds to lipstick

First the kids cold medicines that were pulled from shelves.

Check your medicine cabinet

PEDIACARE® Infant Drops Decongestant & Cough (containing pseudoephedrine)

PEDIACARE® Infant Dropper Decongestant (containing phenylephrine)

PEDIACARE® Infant Dropper Long-Acting Cough

PEDIACARE® Infant Dropper Decongestant & Cough (containing phenylephrine)

Robitussin® Infant Cough DM Drops

Triaminic® Infant & Toddler Thin Strips® Decongestant

Triaminic® Infant & Toddler Thin Strips® Decongestant Plus Cough

TYLENOL® Concentrated Infants' Drops Plus Cold

TYLENOL® Concentrated Infants' Drops Plus Cold & Cough

This voluntary withdrawal does not affect medicines intended for children age 2 and older.


WOMENS LIPSTICK HIGH LEAD CONTENT!

Among the top brands testing positive for lead were L'Oreal Colour Riche True Red with 0.65 ppm, L'Oreal Colour Riche Classic Wine with 0.58 ppm, Cover Girl Incredifull Lipcolor Maximum Red with 0.56 ppm and Dior Addict Positive Red with 0.21 ppm. (c) UPI

damn,what is happening to everything??

are people that careless and do they want to kill people (cause someone has to get sick or die for these people to know)...

is it really that hard to make all of these things without lead? honestly I don't know, but it seems with all the alternatives available these days from food to clothing to cars, there has to be a better way.

thank god i don't have kids so the cold medicine is a non-issue for me. that's not to say it doesn't piss me off, though. lead in cold and cough medicine for an infant? that's just wrong. and unacceptable. i can't believe these companies thought they could get away with cutting corners like that.

the meds didn't have lead in them. it was a possible overdosing issue.

all the toys and the lipstick had lead.
