Kid A unappreciation.

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

U2 hasn't made a better song than "How to Diappear...." since it was made, 2000-ish....

if so, which one?

Not many people have made a song better than that one, but yo have a hard on for Bomb, so....?

(I'd easily prefer Walk On to that, could probably think of more if i was being systematic - each to their own)

It is weird that I love Kid A, but that I also love when Brau hates Kid A.

It just kind of makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Brau is on fire lately, stirring it all up.

MrBrau, what did you think of A Wolf At The Door?

Sounds like someone in 2003 welding together "Because" by The Beatles & "Subterranean Homesick Blues" by Bobbie Dylan.

It's not bad, I actually kinda like it.

Don't misunderstand me. I like RH. The Bends and OKC are top notch. Pablo Honey is really good, and a few tracks off HTTT are good.

It's Kid A and Amnesiac I have contempt for.

Alot of contempt.

I feel exactly the same way, I don't feel warm and fuzzy inside, though; it makes me feel like a skizo :uhoh:

Kid A is brilliant.

But I have to be in the right mood for it. I haven't listened to it in months. If I'm being honest, I'm not in that mood right now.

namkcuR, do you mean a reeeeeeeeeaaaally bleak and depressive mood?

Kind of, but not exactly.

It's more of a detached kind of mood.

Whoever chose to use music from Kid A in 'Vanilla Sky' did an amazing job matching the vibe of a record to the vive of a movie.
